Ratna Diah Kurniati, Msi, Ir. Anggi Murni, Ir. Nirwono Yogo, MLA. Moderators are Ir. Bintang Agus Nugroho and Ir. Julian Dekrita sebagai MC.
Ir. Ina Krisantia, Msi, PhD as the Head of Program of Landscape Architecture said that the Talk show themed “Landscape Architects Build” is a gathering of profession and discussion among the same profession in a series of the event to celebrate the birthday of the Program in Landscape Architecture. We followed the event of Indo Build Tech Jakarta 2017 held on 17th
– 21th May 2017 and we are registered in that big event every year; we participated in the exhibition and socialization to high school students in this region to introduce Landscape Architecture as well as the profession of landscape architecture.
The aim of this event is as a promotion event to public regarding landscape architecture with the work of alumni who has involved, as well as socialize the landscape architecture program also architecture profession to the high school students who are invited.
One of the speakers in the Talk show, alumni of Landscape Architecture Class of 1978, Ir. Dani B. Ishak, MLA said: “in the implementation of knowledge I have learned in campus, I realized there are plenty of our cultural heritage that is a relic of the glorious history of the archipelago and colonial era which is very valuable. When these valuable heritages often called heritage city or cultural landscape, it could be an opportunity for landscape architectures as well as sphere of interest for landscape architects. Each region has its own identity and strong character to its uniqueness of landscape architectures. Nowadays there are various themes that are very attractive as in Indonesia there are more than 500 locations/regions of landscape architectures’ domain. So that cultural landscape is not only raised the value of history, education and knowledge, but also it will have economic value for society in its area as well as to make the surrounding community an economic driver by raising local craftsmen with their creativity”
Furthermore Ir. Dani B Ishak, MLA said “I wish the academician, students, experts and profession of landscape architecture would focus on value of personality of Indonesia. We think globally but we act locally”. L@r
